The Funding Depot Launches New Website With Merchant and Partner Portals
The direct small-business funder has launched a rebuilt website backed by two secure portals: one where business owners apply, e-sign and track a funding request end to end, and one where ISO partners onboard, submit deals and follow every file in real time.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — July 29, 2026 — The Funding Depot LLC, a direct small-business funder, today launched a rebuilt website and two secure online portals that move its funding process online end to end. Business owners can now apply, complete and electronically sign a full application, upload bank statements and follow their file through to funding without leaving the browser. Independent sales organizations (ISOs) and brokers get a separate partner portal where they onboard, submit deals and track every submission in real time.
The launch replaces a process that ran largely on email attachments and phone calls. Because The Funding Depot underwrites and funds with its own capital rather than routing files to a third party, the same team that builds the software also makes the funding decision — so status in the portal reflects where a file actually stands, not where an intermediary last reported it.
For business owners: the merchant portal
An applicant's portal opens as soon as they apply — there is no waiting for a callback before they can start. Inside it, a merchant can:
- Apply in minutes online, and get a portal login immediately by email rather than waiting on a human gate
- Complete the full funding application section by section — business information, references, ownership and financials — saving progress and returning later instead of filling one long form in a single sitting
- Sign the application electronically, with each owner signing for themselves under their own name rather than one person signing for everybody
- Upload the last four months of business bank statements directly, replacing emailed attachments
- See exactly what is still outstanding on a live checklist — which application sections remain, and whether statements have landed
- Track the file through five clear stages: Application, Underwriting, Your offer, Signing & verification, and Funded
- Request additional capital from inside the portal once funded, and see each request's status instead of asking where it went
- Read status updates in an in-portal notification feed the moment something changes
- Reach a named funding advisor — the portal supplements a real person, it does not replace one
- Keep an emailed copy of the signed application, delivered automatically to the signer for their own records
Payment history and a full documents vault will follow as servicing moves onto the platform.
For ISOs and brokers: the partner portal
The partner portal is aimed at the broker's two real problems: how long onboarding takes, and never knowing where a submitted file stands. Partners can:
- Onboard entirely online — complete the ISO questionnaire and sign the Sales Agent Agreement in the portal, with no printing, scanning or posting
- Submit deals online, attaching the merchant's application and bank statements at the point of submission
- Get a deal code on every submission, so a file can be discussed by reference instead of by merchant name
- Track each deal's live stage in real time, from submitted through to funded
- See portfolio totals at a glance — active deals and the amount in play, alongside funded deals and funded volume
- See offers as they are issued, rather than hearing about them second-hand
- Follow a timestamped updates feed for every file in their book
- Work with a direct funder, so commission is not diluted passing through a chain of intermediaries before it reaches a funding source
- Keep their merchants and their renewals — The Funding Depot's stated commitment is not to go around the partner who brought the deal
Deal submission switches on once a partner's signed questionnaire has been reviewed. That gate is deliberate: files carry owner Social Security numbers and business banking detail, and the company's position is that nobody should be able to send that through the platform before their agreement is signed and read.
Security and how it was built
- Merchant documents — bank statements, identification, voided checks and formation documents — are held in private storage and are never publicly addressable; staff reach them only through short-lived signed links behind an authorization check
- Sensitive funding data sits in a database dedicated to The Funding Depot, isolated from any other system
- Logins use the company's own authentication with encrypted session cookies; portal pages are excluded from search engine indexing
- Bank statement figures are read automatically to give underwriters deposit totals, average balances and negative days faster — but the software never makes the decision. A human underwriter does, every time
- The platform was custom-built for The Funding Depot by LFG Ventures rather than licensed off the shelf, which is what allows the funding process and the software to change together
A merchant should never have to call to find out where their file is, and a broker should never have to guess. If we are the ones underwriting and funding the deal, we are the ones who can show you the truth about it in real time — so we built the software to do exactly that.

Availability
The new site is live now. Business owners can apply online, and both portals are available today; funding ranges from $5,000 to $500,000, with same-day decisions on complete files and funding often within 24 to 48 hours. Approval and funding remain subject to underwriting. ISOs and brokers can apply to the partner program from the site.
